Well, we have font-related news. The sheer... choppiness of the fonts after the system update was just so distracting and jarring that I actually installed Arial on the system... which is what you see here... but you will notice... anti-aliased XO. If you want to compare to the non-blurred, aliased style text, check on the last comic, which I've updated to aliased Arial (the original is still there in the below-comic text), and while Arial was an improvement... well, here's a comparison from aliased Arial, anti-aliased Arial, both size 10, which I bizarrely needed to do to make it readable (again, see the last frame of the last comic for the sheer awfulness of size 9 aliased). The kerning is still off, the thickness of the letters varies, even the same letter in different places, I just can't take it any more. So I think the age of aliased text may be done, and I'll have to embrace... at least in the text (and ONLY the text, them sprites will always have sharp corners dag-nabbit, embrace the pixel!!!), the same thing that the rest of the world embraced like... 20 years ago lol. As much as I want to buy an old computer and install Windows 98 on it, I think I have to face the fact that technology has moved beyond pixellated text... and make the comic more readable. But Samus... Samus... you're keeping them sharp corners. As long as .png or something similar exists, we will have pixels!
Ok, enough ranting, let's get to the art updates! And OH we've got all kinds of updates going on, we been BUSY! Let's put these all on separate lines to make this more parseable:
The Staff of Souls, it's been a long time coming, expectedly or not, but denim-blue has been painted over the dark red, making it look far more finished, and the Souls and myself are much happier with this.
On an almost-but-not-quite related note, I've finally found the rest of my carving tools! They were tucked into one of my suitcases, and I've mainly just added a photo of them to the carving tools page there.
The backpack patches, there's a few new additions! We have a Paris Hilton earring stitched in (for lack of a patch for her), and a keychain for Costa Coffee, where I've been getting all of my oatmilk and soymilk and coconutmilk latte's.
The Raven mini pouch is complete, which leads to a full, complete harrow kit!!!
The Scroll of Titan Summoning is 100% complete!
The Wand of Wonder is 100% complete!
And just to throw in, a Kabucam pic to start the 2025 pics, with a story behind it if you hover your mouse over the story ^_^
We have a new Whimsical Windmill creation, Who's that Pokémon??? I've been wanting to make that video for a while, and just now finally managed it :D

WOOH, a lot of updates since last update! I've also just gotten a better working sewing machine, so we'll be able to work on the merchant bag, as well as any other sewing projects better suited to a machine rather than hand-stitching. For what it's worth, my hand-stitching is probably a hundred times stronger than what the sewing machine can put out (unless I like triple or quadruple over the seam), but it's just so TIME CONSUMING! Also I can repair clothing and stuff too! Also I'll need it for the eventual shop table layout and displays. Also fixing rips in clothing (though the knees of jeans may be difficult in there, but we'll give it a try at least before restoring to hand-stitching again).
Also also, we've now fully moved into our room, as stuff is now hung on the walls, shelving has been bought and filled, so my craft table is cleared up (thus making room for that sewing machine, the floor is clear, and soon, I may be able to build an altar for my spiritual stuff! That's all previously been relegated to a closet, and now is still sitting inside bags under the sewing desk-now-endtable, but will at some point soon have a small table I can burn incense or sage on, and have my various spiritual figurines and pendants on, depending on Who I want to talk to at the moment.
So yah, WOOH, updates! Now let's practice up on that sewing machine so I can work on that merchant bag :D
