Sew Random

Random quick bits of stitchery

A tweezers case made from a red nylon strap.
Tweezers case - July 5, 2026

A fun little half-hour build when the sudden need appeared. Sitting inside my geocaching bag, the pointy nature of the tweezers decided to poke through the side of the inner bag in there, and that just couldn't stand. So, immediately deciding it needed a case, I thought a nylon strap would work well for the job, quickly found some scraps, and, before stitching the sides together, sewed a small fold of rigid plastic into the bottom of the pouch, then proceeded to stitch the sides together. Going all the way up one side, and leaving a centimeter free on the other to make it easy to pull out the tweezers, this was a quickly finished project! Definitely not enough for a full page on its own, but it can serve as the starting point of sewings miscellaneous page. A one and done project!
A thin red pouch, created from a strip of nylon, with one side not sewn together for the top centimeter to allow the tweezers inside to be removed easily.
