And speaking of models, our Kabutroid figurine has some significant progress! Our paints have come in, and as a result all of the tattoos are now painted onto the figure! It currently sits to my side waiting for its first coat of enamel to dry, after which we will finish the base (the final bit), and THAT will be done!!! Hopefully this weekend!
Also with the arrival of the paint, the Teeth of Dahlver-Nar will be painted next, followed shortly by the dice tower. So, this meticulous work will be occupying me for the next few days, I'm going to modify the new red pouch for the teeth thing (see page for details) to get rid of the inner seams and round the corners, and I've got a really interesting plan for the (according to the wiki) "stitched with images of heroes and whimsical creatures". Again, won't be using leather for the pouch (even vegan) because that's expensive, so this will do in that regard (also I feel this just fits the style of the magical dnd object), BUT... for those images of heroes and whimsical creatures, as I don't plan to try embroidering things on it by hand, I'm going to print out said heroes and creatures, sandwich that between layers of mostly-rigid plastic, and sew those onto the bag as badges or emblems type of thing, and that will do nicely. So THAT'S in the works!
Not a whole ton outside of that. Life is going well enough, life is love, and art is happening :D
